On Saturday, February 4th, eight FSB employees took an icy plunge to help raise funds for the Special Olympics of WV.  The SOWV’s Annual Polar Plunge requires jumpers to raise no less than $50 before taking a leap into the icy waters in the name of charity.  FSB employees Danielle Waltz, Kitina Schneider, Lori Pierson, Andy Cooke, Phillip Estep, Brad Bury, Sam Madia, Amanda Gardner and Kiersan Smith participated in the 2012 Polar Plunge.  “The Special Olympics of West Virginia provides such a great service to thousands of athletes around the State.  This is just one small way that we can support these athletes and help enhance the services SOWV provides”, said Danielle Waltz, an Associate at FSB and a member of the Special Olympics of WV Board of Directors.  Not only did FSB employees jump they also raised $1,700 to support the Special Olympic Athletes of WV.  All money generated from the Polar Plunges enables athletes to have opportunities for year-round sports training and competition that result in lasting joy and happiness.
