Eric Silkwood recently secured the dismissal of a complaint to the West Virginia Real Estate Commission. Their client was accused by the county Board of Realtors of several violations of the real estate regulations, including allegations of offering associated services without advertising their value, "pocketing" listings, and listing property without a listing agreement. The West Virginia Real Estate Commission dismissed the complaint without a hearing, finding no probable cause to proceed.
