and Amy Rothman obtained a
defense verdict in a medical malpractice case against a radiologist.
The plaintiff alleged that the defendant radiologist had negligently
read a CT scan, missing indications of appendicitis. The defense
contended that the CT had been read properly by the radiologist.
After a twelve day trial, the six person jury returned a unanimous
verdict in favor of the radiologist, finding that he had met the
standard of care.
