Peter DeMasters
received summary judgment for a client in a products liability action in the Circuit Court of Brooke County, West Virginia. The plaintiff alleged that the driver's seat belt on a city bus was defective and that this defect caused injuries when the bus was involved in an accident. The Court agreed with Mr. DeMaster's argument that the plaintiff produced no evidence of a defect in the seat belt.
