received summary judgment for their client in a legal malpractice action in the Circuit Court of Monongalia County, West Virginia. The
Court agreed that the plaintiff's claim was barred as a matter of law due to the plaintiff's voluntary settlement of the underlying claim, finding that the voluntary settlement precluded the plaintiff from being able to establish any damages.
